The “Bass Box” DI is a replication of Bruce Swedien’s beloved DI box that he himself has said to have used on virtually every bass track since the late 1950’s, including Michael Jackson, Brothers Johnson, George Benson, etc, etc. It is hand-made, using Lundahl’s clone of the UTC LS-10X transformer. Only top-shelf parts are used: gold Pure Tone input jacks, gold Neutrik XLR output, silver wire and silver solder, enclosed in a classic Bud Industries “Bud-Box”. Limited run of 10 units!

These are unlike any other D.I. out there. They magically reduce bass “clank” and string noise, with a buttery-smooth tone and incredible low-end. One try and you’ll see why Bruce never recorded electric bass without it. Great on synth too!
